Mansoor Set To Make GCW Debut

Mansoor heading to GCW

Former WWE talent Mansoor will make his debut for Game Changer Wrestling in the new year.

GCW have announced that Mansoor will be in action at their Look At Me event on Friday, January 26 in Tampa, Florida. The event will take place on the same weekend as WWE Royal Rumble at nearby St. Petersburg and will air on FITE+.

Mansoor recently made his pro wrestling return alongside his Maximum Male Models tag team partner Mace as they appeared at DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling's 2nd Anniversary show. Mansoor and Mace are keeping busy over Royal Rumble weekend too and they will appear at EFFY's Big Gay Brunch on Saturday, January 27.

Mansoor had been a part of WWE for several years but he and Mace were let go in September 2023 as part of post-UFC merger roster cuts. The likes of Dolph Ziggler, Elias, Emma, Riddick Moss, Shelton Benjamin, and Mustafa Ali were also released as over 20 talents ended up losing their jobs.

The non-compete clauses for released main roster talents are set to expire next week. WWE may have agreed to end Mace and Mansoor's non-compete clauses early as their DPW appearance was before the 90-day non-competes end.
