Reverse Battle Royal Added To IMPACT Slammiversary

IMPACT Wrestling are reviving the infamous Reverse Battle Royal for Sunday's Slammiversary pre-show. 

The promotion announced today that the Reverse Battle Royal and the Digital Media Title match between Rich Swann and Brian Myers will take place on the Countdown to Slammiversary, which begins at 7:30 pm ET. The main card will then get underway at 8 pm ET. 

The Reverse Battle Royal was first introduced back in 2006 as part of the Fight for the Right tournament. The match sees competitors begin outside of the ring and fight to get inside the squared circle. After a certain number of wrestlers enter the ring, the match switches to a normal battle royal. The final two participants then usually square off in a singles match. 

No participants have been announced for the Reverse Battle Royal as of yet.
