Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar Agree To United States Title Match

LWO members will meet for the United States Title

There have been some hints at tension rising in the Latino World Order faction, brought about by Rey Mysterio replacing an injured Santos Escobar in a United States Championship match against Austin Theory several weeks back. Mysterio would win the title, but with him taking Escobar’s spot, not everything has been smooth sailing for the LWO members.

The likes of Grayson Waller and Theory have added some smoke to the fire for potential tension, and this all led up to last night’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown when Escobar met his LWO stablemate in the ring and challenged him to a match for the United States Championship.

At first, Mysterio seemed a little bit wary of the challenge, but this was all shrugged off to the side as they each showed each other respect and agreed to a United States Championship match. No date has yet been announced for this title match, and it could place either on SmackDown or the upcoming Fastlane premium live event.
