Rey Mysterio Vs. Dominik Mysterio Made Official For WrestleMania 39

WrestleMania 39 is only a week away, but matches are still being added to the card, with a bout between Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio made official during the March 24 edition of WWE SmackDown. 

After weeks of prodding, insults, and other forms of provocation from his son, it all got too much for Rey Mysterio this week as Dominik took to insulting his own mother and sister, who were sitting in the crowd. 

Following a match in which Dominik cost Rey the victory against LA Knight, Dominik took to the mic in a scathing promo, leading Rey to run back down the ramp and lay his son out with right hand. Finally, after all this time, Rey can beat his son not just at video games, but in real life too. He would go on to accept Dominik’s previous WrestleMania 39 challenge, making the match official. 

The WrestleMania 39 card, which takes place on April 1 and April 2, looks like this;
