Current WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley has been named number one in this year's PWI Women's 250.

It represents a big jump in the rankings for the 27-year-old, who finished 42nd in 2022.

Ripley has had a very successful year in WWE. She won the Women's Royal Rumble match and then went on to defeat Charlotte Flair to bag her title at WrestleMania 39.

Since then, she has successfully defended it against the likes of Natalya, Zelina Vega and Raquel Rodriguez on premium live events and television. As well as holding and defending her title, Rhea's popularity has increased thanks to her association with The Judgment Day and, in particular, her on-screen relationship with Dominik Mysterio.

The Australian-born star recently returned after a brief sabbatical and will put her title on the line in a five-way with Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Shayna Baslzer and Zoey Stark at Crown Jewel on November 4.

The full top 10 from this year's PWI Women's 250 are:

1) Rhea Ripley - WWE 2) Giulia - Stardom 3) Bianca Belair - WWE 4) Jamie Hayter - AEW 5) Tam Nakano - Stardom 6) Athena - AEW/ROH 7) Deonna Purrazzo - IMPACT 8) Willow Nightingale - AEW/ROH 9) Kamille - NWA 10) Jordynne Grace - IMPACT
