Rhea Ripley Returns To WWE NXT, Confronts Carmelo Hayes

Another main roster superstar headed to WWE NXT during the special NXT Gold Rush edition of the Tuesday night show.

While Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams were backstage as the NXT Champion prepared for his main event match with Baron Corbin, Rhea Ripley suddenly appeared and told Hayes not to interfere in Judgment Day's business. This comes after Hayes made the save for Seth Rollins on last week's NXT, halting Finn Balor's attack. Hayes then prevented Balor from hitting Seth Rollins with a steel chair on the June 26 edition of Monday Night Raw, with Balor later defeating the NXT Champion in a singles match.

If Ripley's appearance will lead to a full-blown feud between Hayes and Judgment Day remains to be seen. The Women's World Champion then appeared later in NXT, telling Jacy Jayne that Lyra Valkyria is a badass.

Rhea Ripley had a long and successful run during her time in NXT and she is a former NXT Women's Champion. She is currently part of Judgment Day on the main roster with Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Dominik Mysterio.
