Rhea Ripley Reveals Cancelled Plans For WrestleMania 39

Rhea Ripley nearly had a live music performance for her entrance at WrestleMania 39

Rhea Ripley shone at WrestleMania 39 as she achieved a star-making moment by finally overcoming long-time rival Charlotte Flair on the grandest stage of them all. Ripley emerged victorious, winning the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the event. Whilst the match went down as planned, Ripley recently spoke on The Battleground Podcast and revealed that there were cancelled plans for her entrance when she was asked about a live performance of her entrance music.

“So I'm not sure. I might have to wait a bit because I have Chris Motionless singing my song right now. So I would absolutely love the Motionless in White to perform me out to the ring. We were trying to do it for WrestleMania 39, but unfortunately, they had a tour in Germany I believe, which was already rescheduled from the COVID era. So they had to do that, they couldn’t pull out again. But maybe SummerSlam or some sort of PLE they’ll be there to pull me out to the ring because I would love to be on the stage with my musically talented twin, Chris Motionless, and the rest of the Motionless in White.”

Ripely is going strong on the back of two SmackDown Women’s Title defences against both Zelina Vega and Natalya at the Backlash and Night Of Champions events respectively.
