Rhea Ripley Reveals Triple H Pitched Champions' Salute On WWE NXT

"It’s something that I’m gonna hold in my heart for a long, long time."

Rhea Ripley has revealed that Triple H had the idea for her and Bianca Belair to return to NXT to celebrate their respective Championship wins with Raquel Gonzalez.

Ripley, the new Raw Women's Champion, joined Smackdown Women's Champion Belair and NXT Women's Champion Gonzalez on the black-and-gold brand last week, as the trio shared an embrace and posed with their new Titles.

The Nightmare has revealed that they initially just wanted to recreate an old photo of them together, but this time with their Championships, when Triple H suggested that they get the opportunity to do it on the NXT stage.

Speaking to Metro, Ripley said: "Raquel and Bianca, they’re the real ones. I know they’re gonna be there for me through anything and vice versa. I’ve been through a lot with them girls, and they’ve been through a lot too. I’ve seen them struggle, I’ve seen them work through things. To see us all come out on the other side and be so happy and excited, and all have championships at the same time, it was just incredible. The bond that we have is insane, we’re all so happy for each other.

"I’m very thankful for Triple H for thinking of that idea to bring us out on NXT. It was just so special to be able to step out there and have all of us hold up our championships and show off that our hard work has gone towards something. And to have that exciting moment together and with the NXT crowd that have seen us along the journey – it was very, very special, and it’s something that I’m gonna hold in my heart for a long, long time."
