On last week's episode of IMPACT!, multiple released WWE Superstars appeared in a promo for Slammiversary 2020. The video opened with a hooded figure watching a news report about the releases, only for the broadcast to cut to footage of Drake Maverick, Eric Young, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson, EC3, Brian Myers, and Mike and Maria Kanellis in their IMPACT days. A Bulgarian flag was also on display.

The newest IMPACT Wrestling acquisition seemingly won't be a TNA alumni, however, as Rhino teased on last night's episode of IMPACT! that his new tag team partner has "got kids," hinting at the arrival of Heath Slater.

The segment came about after The Man Beast Gored Rohit Raju last week. Raju took exception to Rhino's attack and berated him last night for not trying to elevate him to the next level. The ECW original quickly stopped Raju in his tracks and told him he already has a new tag team partner, "and he's got kids." Rhino then told Rohit to stop complaining about not having things handed to him, which only resulted in Raju attacking the former ECW World Champion when his back was turned.

Now, their feud looks set to continue and could lead to a tag team match at Slammiversary where The One Man Band will make his IMPACT Wrestling debut.
