Ric Flair Appears To Confirm Charlotte Flair Will Miss WWE WrestleMania 37

It would be the first time she's missed 'Mania since moving to the main roster

Questions marks were raised about Charlotte Flair's WrestleMania 37 status over the weekend after the 12-time women's champion was pulled from promotional material for The Showcase Of The Immortals.

Flair confirmed shortly after that she was home resting after testing positive for COVID-19, but her status for 'Mania was thrown into more doubt last night after a Raw Women's Title match between Rhea Ripley and Asuka was set for April 11. Flair initially appeared to be Asuka's likely challenger at WrestleMania, particularly after she challenged The Empress Of Tomorrow at the beginning of March.

Now, Ric Flair appears to have confirmed on Twitter that Charlotte will indeed miss The Shows Of Shows. The Nature Boy wished his daughter a speedy recovery from COVID, but also noted: "WrestleMania Will Not Be The Same Without The Queen! @MsCharlotteWWE."

This will be the first 'Mania Flair has missed since making her way to the main roster. She has competed against Bayley, Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, Nia Jax and Sasha Banks in various multi-woman matches and she has also faced Rhea Ripley and Asuka in singles action.
