Ric Flair has claimed that WWE are erasing his legacy, and has apparently asked for them to return ‘his two belts’.

Flair spoke out on how he feels WWE are erasing him from history - in the wake of the Plane Ride from Hell episode of Vice’s Dark Side of the Ring - saying the following on Twitter:

“Speaking Of Legacies, @WWE Has Decided To Erase Mine. That’s All Good, However, These Two Belts Are My Legacy, And I’d Like Them Returned! I’ve Asked Twice, Apparently Falling On Deaf Ears! I’m Assuming That Next Week On @FlairUncensored I’ll Have To Explain In Detail! WOOOOO!”

Flair has been treated as persona non grata since Dark Side of the Ring aired in September, with the full extent of his actions on the plane ride, including sexual assault allegations, garnering widespread condemnation.

It’s not understood as to what Flair means by ‘his two belts’, whether he is talking about his legacy as a multi-time World Champion or whether WWE possesses physical title belts belonging to Flair.
