Ric Flair Confirms He's Signed A New WWE Contract

The Nature Boy has confirmed he's sticking around...

Back in December, reports noted that Ric Flair's WWE contract was set to expire at the end of 2019. While it was considered a formality that he would re-sign with the wrestling behemoth, Flair is close to AEW President Tony Khan and there was some concern that he might make the jump to the young promotion.

These concerns didn't come to pass, however, as Raj Giri at Wrestling Inc. revealed last week that The Nature Boy had signed a new contract with WWE and would be under contract for the foreseeable future.

The 16-time world champion has now confirmed Giri's report on Twitter and posted a picture of the contract. Flair tweeted: "Limousine Riding, Jet Flying, Styling And Profiling... Then, Now, Forever With @WWE! WOOOOO!"

When The Dirtiest Player In The Game will next appear on WWE TV remains to be seen. He hasn't featured on the company's programming since Triple H's 25th-anniversary celebration when he congratulated The Game on his career, and his last storyline was back in October 2019 when he managed Team Flair against Team Hogan at Crown Jewel.
