Ric Flair: John Cena Represents WWE At The Highest Level

Flair has a lot of time for Cena

Ric Flair has hailed the incredible work rate of John Cena following his return to WWE, saying the iconic star represents the company 'at the highest level'.

Cena made his return to the promotion at Money In The Bank 2021 two weeks ago and has issued a challenge to Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam 2021.

Should Cena be victorious in that bout then he will break Flair's longstanding World Championship record. The two-time WWE Hall Of Famer is credited as having 16 World Title reigns, a feat Cena matched in 2017.

With Cena back in WWE, Flair says he is one of the biggest fans of the performer out there and believes he is always finding new ways to pour himself into WWE

Speaking to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Flair said: "John Cena, the man’s a star. He gave 10 years, every day of his life, to the business, and he is still finding new ways to work hard. John just doesn’t know any other way.

"It’s been a pleasure to see every piece of work he’s done so far since coming back. John represents WWE at the highest level. I’m as big a John Cena fan as you can find. Look at what’s in store. John working Roman Reigns—that’s going to be special."
