Ric Flair Role Cast For 'The Iron Claw'

Ric Flair will be featured in the upcoming 'The Iron Claw' movie from A24. 

Deadline have reported that The Deuce's Aaron Dean Eisenberg has been cast as the WWE Hall of Famer. He will be in the movie alongside the likes of Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson, Lily James, Holt McCallany, and Jeremy Allan White.

'The Iron Claw' will follow the rise and fall of the Von Erich family from the 1960s until the present day. Production is already underway on the film. 

Flair's appearance in 'The Iron Claw' is only expected to be a cameo but it will be for a key part of the movie as Kerry Von Erich famously defeated The Nature Boy for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship in front of over 45,000 people at Texas Stadium in 1984. Kerry's victory was in honour of his brother David, who had passed away three months earlier and the event - the David Von Erich Memorial Parade of Champions - was a tribute to him. 

Kerry was only champion for 18 days, dropping the title back to Flair in Japan. 

All Elite Wrestling's MJF will also be involved with 'The Iron Claw', portraying Lance Von Erich.
