Despite not being used in well over a year, RIc Flair remains signed to All Elite Wrestling, and as such will be missing WWE WrestleMania 41.
The legendary ‘Nature Boy’ appeared on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio when the topic of WrestleMania XLI came up, with Flair saying the following:
“I work for another company. I’m sure I’d be more than welcome (at WrestleMania). It’s competition. (AEW) opens up more opportunities for guys to work. If I wasn’t working with Tony (Khan), I would be absolutely be there. You couldn’t keep me out of the building,” Flair said.
The nature of Flair’s deal with AEW isn’t known, with it originally believed that Wooooo Energy were paying Flair’s salary as part of an advertising deal with AEW. It’s not known if WWE have approached Flair about a Mania appearance or not, with Flair simply stating it would be “very difficult to participate in activities while I’m working for Tony (Khan)”, putting over the AEW President as “the greatest guy in the world.”
It’s believed Flair signed a two-year deal with AEW upon his debut with the company in late 2023.
