We are a little over a week away from the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony, and 2025 inductee Lex Luger is still unsure whether Sting will be on hand to induct him or not.
Luger has spoken of his preference to be inducted by long-time friends Sting and Diamond Dallas Page, but Sting’s potential involvement is tricky due to being signed to All Elite Wrestling.
Speaking with Bill Apter on Sportskeeda, ‘The Total Package’ revealed there has been no update as to whether Sting will be present at the HOF or not:
“I ran it by WWE guys, Triple H’s right-hand man,” Luger said. “He goes, ‘I know what you’re going to ask. I’ll have to run that up the flagpole, but man, I don’t know.’ And I haven’t had an answer back on that, but obviously, maybe selfishly - somewhat selfishly - I think it’d be great for the fans too.”
Luger continued:
“WWE may allow him up there, but he would also have to have permission from Tony Khan and AEW. So there’s a lot of moving parts there. But ideally, obviously, I would love to see both those guys up there with me. That would be huge for me and I think it’d be special for the fans too.”
Luger was present for Sting’s final match at AEW Revolution 2024, but was reportedly barred from appearing on camera by WWE.
