Ric Flair Thinks Randy Orton Is "The Number One Guy" In WWE

In recent months, Randy Orton has been widely praised within the wrestling world by Superstars and fans alike. His Last Man Standing match with Edge was considered one of the best feuds WWE has done in recent memory, and while the match itself failed to meet many people's expectations, Orton and Edge's character work was commended.

One WWE Hall Of Famer who is extremely high on The Apex Predator is Ric Flair. During a recent interview with Alex McCarthy at talkSPORT, The Nature Boy said he thinks Orton is doing "some of the best work he has ever done" and that he considers him to be "the number one guy" in WWE.

Flair said: "Nobody is higher on Randy Orton than I am. I think, right now, he is doing some of the best work he has ever done and I think Edge is too. Randy has done and accomplished so much and he's been there a long time, people don't realise this. But every time he says something, it's the truth. And his level of ability right now and his health are both great. He's at the top of his game, which, in my opinion, makes him the number one guy."
