Ricochet Thinks Carmelo Hayes Belongs On The WWE Main Roster

Ricochet sees a bright future in WWE for Carmelo Hayes and he believes the former NXT North American Champion belongs on the main roster.

"Raw, Smackdown, everywhere he goes, he's going to show out and show why he belongs there, so I don't see why not. If Solo's wandering around here doing anything, I don't see why 'Melo can't be doing the same thing," Ricochet told NBC Sports Boston's Steve Fall. 

Ricochet and Hayes recently went one-on-one, facing off for the North American Title at Worlds Collide on Sunday, September 4. Hayes picked up the win on that occasion following interference from Trick Williams. Hayes then lost the gold to Solo Sikoa one week later but The Bloodline member was stripped of the title on Tuesday.

Hayes will have the opportunity to recapture the North American Championship in a Ladder Match at Halloween Havoc, signalling he will remain on the NXT brand for at least the next couple of months.
