Riddle Challenges Roman Reigns To Undisputed WWE Universal Title Match

Riddle vs. Roman Reigns coming up?

Roman Reigns' first challenger for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship has possibly been revealed.

Appearing on Miz TV during Monday's episode of Raw, Riddle vowed to capture the world championship from Reigns at a future date, challenging The Tribal Chief to a match.

There is no word on if Riddle and Reigns will face off for the gold but The Original Bro was originally scheduled to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view/premium live event on July 2. The status of that match was then up in the air, though, after Money In The Bank was moved from Allegiant Stadium to the smaller MGM Grand Garden Arena, with Reigns no longer being advertised for the show.

As of last week, WWE were still thinking about when Reigns would defend the title for the first time and Riddle was scheduled to team with Shinsuke Nakamura to face The Usos in an Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match at Money In The Bank.

Beyond Riddle, Drew McIntyre challenged Reigns to a title match at the September 3 Clash At The Castle pay-per-view that will take place in Cardiff, Wales.
