Riddle: John Cena & I Didn't See Eye To Eye When We First Met In WWE

Riddle and Cena are 'bros' now, though

Riddle has admitted that he and WWE legend John Cena did not 'see eye to eye' the first time they met.

Riddle has infamously got on the wrong side of some of WWE's biggest ever names. The 35-year-old has previously upset the likes of Randy Orton, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar with his actions and things he's said, although Riddle has since seemingly cleared the air with each of them.

The Raw superstar has now revealed he had a similar situation with Cena but that the two are now 'bros' after getting over the initial issues.

Speaking to SportsKeeda Wrestling, Riddle said: "John Cena’s pretty cool, you know. Originally, when we first met we didn’t see eye to eye. He didn’t really understand what a bro was, but now he gets it. We’re bros.”

Cena and Riddle shared an on-screen moment on Cena's return to Monday Night Raw last month, with the two participating in a 'bro-off' before tagging in a dark match to defeat T-BAR and Mace.

The former United States Champion is grateful to Cena for going out of his way to give him an on-screen rub.

"John doesn’t have to and didn’t have to do that, and he went out of his way to make it part of the show and we did it,” Riddle added. “It made me happy and we even tagged together later that night on the darker part of the show where it was off camera. It was a lot of fun, and yeah, it was good."
