Riddle Vs. Seth Rollins Added To WWE Clash At The Classic
The SummerSlam match that wasn't
After not taking place at SummerSlam, Riddle and Seth Rollins will finally go one on one at Clash at the Castle in less than three weeks time.
Going into Monday's episode of Raw, it was teased that Riddle would provide an update on his medical status, after previously being sidelined following a Rollins attack.
Rollins ran down Riddle during an in-ring promo, to which Riddle (responding from an undisclosed location) revealed that had been medically cleared, and that he was actually in the arena. Riddle then hit the ring and engaged Rollins in a wild brawl that ran throughout the venue.
Upon return from commercial break, Riddle officially laid down the challenge to Rollins for the Clash on September 3.
The current card for WWE Clash at the Castle, taking place Saturday, September 3 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, is as follows:
* Undisputed WWE Universal: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
* SmackDown Women's: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Shayna Baszler
* Bianca Belair, Asuka, and Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky
* Riddle vs. Seth Rollins
