Riddle Vs. Xavier Woods Added To WWE Raw
A second match is now set for Monday
Another match has been announced for this Monday's edition of Raw, as Riddle will go one on one with Xavier Woods of The New Day.
Riddle and Woods teamed with respective partners Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston in an eight-man tag on the May 10 episode of Raw, defeating AJ Styles, Omos, Elias, and Jaxson Ryker. However, after the match, Orton laid out both New Day members with RKOs.
Riddle later tried to make peace between Orton and The New Day, to no avail. This past Monday, Kingston defeated Orton in a singles match, after Woods provided a distraction. Riddle ended up shoving Woods down during a post-match skirmish.
WWE's write-up reads, "After Xavier Woods caused the distraction that led to Kofi Kingston’s victory over Randy Orton last week, Riddle protested by shoving Woods to the canvas in the middle of the ring.
"Coming fresh off the heels of failing to bring Orton and The New Day together as friends one week prior, Riddle has seemingly now set his sights on getting payback for his “friend” Orton by squaring off against Woods one-on-one this Monday."
Previously announced for Raw was a Women's Tag Team title rematch pitting new champions Natalya and Tamina against the former titleholders, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
