The Usos Vs. The Street Profits Added To WWE SmackDown

Usos' first match as a team in over a year

Next week's episode of WWE SmackDown will feature the return of Jimmy and Jey Uso as a tag team, as they will take on The Street Profits.

The match will mark the Usos' first time teaming together since March 21, 2020, when they wrestled Kofi Kingston and Big E to a no contest.

Jimmy sustained a torn ACL at last year's WrestleMania 36 tapings, and was sidelined until just last month. In the time in between, Jey wrestled as a solo act, and became Roman Reigns' right hand man.

In the story, Jimmy has been far more defiant toward Reigns than Jey has, and told Reigns that he's not going to tolerate the same level of disrespect. Jimmy has been trying to get Jey to focus more on their team than assisting Reigns.

Jimmy had next week's match made without Jey's knowledge, which Jey was unhappy about. This has led to Jey being stuck in the middle, with Jimmy and Reigns each trying to pull him their way.

For next Friday's match, it will mark the first time that the Usos have ever faced The Street Profits.
