Rikishi Set For WWE Raw 30th Anniversary

Rikishi and former partner Samu will be on hand to acknowledge Roman Reigns

WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi will be in the house for Raw's 30th anniversary show on Monday.

An article published by The Daily Item in Sunbury, Pennsylvania confirmed that Rikishi and his cousin Samu Anoa'i will be part of the festivities on January 23. Samu and Rikishi (as Fatu) were formerly the WWE Tag Team Championship-winning duo The Headshrinkers.

There will be an 'Acknowledgement Ceremony' for Roman Reigns on Raw, featuring every generation of The Bloodline.

Samu has rarely appeared for WWE since leaving the company in 1996, though he (alongside his cousin Matt 'Rosey' Anoa'i) inducted The Wild Samoans - Afa & Sika - into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007. Samu signed a 'nostalgia contract' with WWE in February of 2022.

Rikishi, meanwhile, has made a few appearances since he was released by the company in 2004, including as a surprise opponent for Heath Slater in 2012 and at a couple of 'Old School' editions of Raw. Rikishi currently runs the KnokX Pro Wrestling academy.
