Tatanka To Miss WWE Raw 30th Anniversary

Tatanka had been contacted about appearing on Raw is XXX

WWE are bringing back many legends for the Raw 30th anniversary show this coming Monday, but one legend won't be making the trip to Philadelphia for it.

Tatanka has confirmed that he will not be at the show, noting that WWE had reached out to him about appearing.

Excusing his absence, the Native American star tweeted

"Even though @WWE contacted me 5 weeks ago, I will not be attending the 30th Anniversary Show...instead, as noted, my Son's Wrestling Team won the Regional Championship & we're heading out of town to the State Championship! No better place I would rather be! #Father #Son Support!"

Tatanka originally worked for WWE between early 1992 and the spring of 1996. He subsequently wrestled on the independent circuit, before making an unlikely WWE comeback in 2006. He requested and received his release in early 2007, leaving the company on good terms and with a view to return again someday.

Tatanka signed a WWE Legends contract in November 2015 and made a surprise appearance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 (where he was eliminated by eventual winner Baron Corbin).
