Road Dogg Believes Adam Cole Would Currently Be WWE Universal Champion If "He Were Karrion Kross' Size"

The D-O-Double-G is big on the NXT champ...

In surpassing a full year as NXT champion, Adam Cole has earned lots of admirers along the way - and he has one in NXT producer Brian "Road Dogg" James.

James spoke about the Undisputed Era kingpin on WWE's After the Bell podcast, and believes he has all the tools necessary to be a top guy on the main stage.

"Adam Cole is the most professional, most talented. He gets it,” James stated. “He gets every aspect of it, but he's also a great worker. He has great psychology. Man, if he was Karrion Kross' size, he would be the Universal Champion right now and if he wasn't, I'd be wondering why, that's the kind of guy he is. That's the kind of human he is. That's the kind of talent he is. Incredible.

"So he's probably my favorite guy. But from a guy who is now on this side of the fence having to work with that guy, he gives you everything you could ask for and more and you don't even really have to ask for it. Do you know what I mean? It's just like a dream. You know, it's a dream. Dream Superstar.”
