Road Dogg Reveals Why He Thinks The New Age Outlaws Won't Be Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame

No New Age Outlaws WWE Hall Of Fame induction?

While the New Age Outlaws - composed of Road Dogg and Billy Gunn - may have been one of WWE's top tag teams during the Attitude Era, Road Dogg doesn't believe they will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame as a team, nor does he think the Armstrong family will ever be honoured.

"I don't think we ever will because the wrestling, not the fans, the wrestling powers that be doesn't look at our family like that," Road Dogg said on his Oh...You Didn't Know podcast. "I really believe that with all my heart. I think they overlook us and we don't get the credit we deserve. Again, that's not from the fans, the fans in the Southeast will fight you over some Bob Armstrong stuff. I just don't feel like me and Billy [Gunn] will get it either on our own. It's definitely some politics going into it and I just don't know that our family is going to be brought up in that conversation. I think we should but I don't think we will."

Billy Gunn and Road Dogg are WWE Hall Of Famers as part of D-Generation X, having been inducted in 2019.

Road Dogg continued to work for WWE, most recently as an NXT producer, until his release in January of 2022. Billy Gunn, meanwhile, is an in-ring talent and coach in All Elite Wrestling.

During their time in WWE, the New Age Outlaws became five-time tag team champions. They also had a run in TNA Wrestling.
