Rob Van Dam Open To Having A Part-Time AEW Run

Rob Van Dam would be open to an AEW run

Rob Van Dam’s initial appearances in All Elite Wrestling were a welcome sight for fans, with the ECW legend coming out to his classic Pantera ‘Walk’ theme for a singles bout with Jack Perry in August, and a tag match with HOOK in September 2023.

Whilst RVD isn’t officially ‘All Elite’, the former WWE Champion revealed that he is open to working more with the promotion, saying he could ‘possibly’ see himself having a part-time run in the company on a recent episode of the One of a Kind podcast.

AEW President Tony Khan is a noted ECW die-hard and has made no secret that he’d be open to bringing Van Dam back in if the opportunity arose.

Since his last run with IMPACT Wrestling ended in 2020, Van Dam has wrestled part-time on the independent circuit, last wrestling on September 30 with a win over Brian Cage at an indie show in RVD’s hometown of Battle Creek, Michigan. RVD also wrestled one match for Japan’s Pro Wrestling NOAH in 2022, alongside fellow ECW alumni Masato Tanaka and Super Crazy.
