ROH Invades IMPACT Wrestling At Hard To Kill 2022

What happens next?!

Inter-promotional warfare looks set to be on the way.

While an ROH World Title Match between champion Jonathan Gresham and Chris Sabin took place at Hard To Kill with Ian Riccaboni on the call and Bobby Cruise on ring announcing duties, this wasn't Ring Of Honor's only involvement at the pay-per-view.

Following Eddie Edwards, Willie Mack, Rich Swann, Heath and Rhino's win in Hardcore War against Violent By Design and The Good Brothers, former contracted Ring Of Honor talents Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Vincent and PCO charged to the ring and laid out the babyfaces.

In what was described as a Ring Of Honor invasion by Tom Hannifan and D'Lo Brown on commentary, the ROH contingent beat down the IMPACT babyfaces, ending the attack with a Moonsault from PCO to Rich Swann before they stood tall inside the ring with Maria.

Backstage interviewer Gia Miller then caught up with Scott D'Amore following the incident and he promised to call Ring Of Honor to find out what was going on.

The Ring Of Honor invasion of IMPACT Wrestling comes after the Sinclair-owned promotion went on hiatus following Final Battle on December 11, 2021, with plans to return in April 2022. All Ring Of Honor talent were told their contracts would not be renewed and many of their deals expired at the end of the year.
