Roman Reigns Comments On Reduced WWE Schedule

WWE's top star has been part-time since WrestleMania 38

While Roman Reigns had at least performed at most of WWE's monthly pay-per-views throughout his Universal Title reign, The Tribal Chief has worked a part-time schedule in the company since he defeated Brock Lesnar to become Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38.

Reigns has only made sporadic appearances on WWE TV and at house shows and he has defended the company's top title just once since WrestleMania, facing off with Riddle back on the June 17 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Reigns' reduced schedule came about as a result of a new WWE deal that allows him to work fewer dates and WWE's top star commented on his new schedule during an appearance on The TODAY Show.

"My schedule shifted around a little bit so I have a lot more time at home now and I can feel that relationship strengthening and those bonds are getting better and better. So, it's a very blessed situation," Reigns said.

The 37-year-old will be in action at SummerSlam on Saturday, July 30, and he will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a Last Man Standing Match against Brock Lesnar.
