Roman Reigns: I Can Have A "Special" WWE Match With Seth Rollins
Will the former Shield members clash again soon?
Jul 1, 2021
Roman Reigns has hyped a potential clash with Seth Rollins in the future, saying he and his former Shield teammate can 'make something special happen' every time they're in the ring together.
Reigns and Rollins have seen their WWE history intertwined since they made their debut on the main roster in 2012 as two of the three members of The Shield. Since then, the duo have gone their separate ways but had various feuds and come back together at different times in the past few years.
Speculation has mounted that The Head Of The Table and The Messiah could meet once again sooner rather than later, with some reports indicating that the two will clash over the Universal Championship following this year's SummerSlam.
Reigns himself knows he and Rollins can create magic, saying it's an easy match for WWE to put together because everyone knows how good it will be.
Speaking to Peter Rosenberg for Hot 97 radio, Reigns said: "Seth is a special performer, especially in ring. It can be a cold situation, you give us a crowd, you give us a ring and we’re gonna make something special happen.
"So you put us in a scenario like WrestleMania or SummerSlam, a big PPV, no question. I mean that chemistry, that stride for greatness, the ambition for greatness between the both of us, it’ll always be there. So that’s what’s always gonna make it special.
"So that’s easy, that’s like insurance policy. When in doubt, throw me and him together."
