Roman Reigns, Logan Paul Confrontation Set For 10/7 WWE SmackDown

It's the "season premiere" of SmackDown

A face to face confrontation has been announced for the "season premiere" of WWE SmackDown on October 7, involving WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns and Logan Paul.

The two are scheduled to wrestle for Reigns' championships at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh on November 5.

In addition, two matches are set for the SmackDown premiere. One was previously announced, and will be an Intercontinental title match where champion Gunther defends against Sheamus. The two originally battled in a critically acclaimed title match at Clash at the Castle on September 3 in Cardiff, where Gunther managed to retain.

Recently added to the SmackDown premiere is a match pitting Ricochet against Solo Sikoa of The Bloodline. Sikoa teamed with Sami Zayn on this week's SmackDown to defeat Ricochet and Madcap Moss, after Sikoa pinned Moss.

The current card for next Friday's WWE SmackDown, taking place at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA, includes the following:

* WWE Intercontinental: Gunther (c) vs. Sheamus

* Solo Sikoa vs. Ricochet

* A face to face confrontation between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul
