Roman Reigns Not Advertised For WWE Extreme Rules

Roman Reigns disappearing again?

Roman Reigns will seemingly go on hiatus from WWE again later this year.

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion is not currently being advertised for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view that is set to take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, October 8. Instead, WWE are advertising Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, The Street Profits, and Bobby Lashley for the event.

Reigns was also not featured on the latest poster for the October pay-per-view, with Becky Lynch being placed front and centre.

This suggests Reigns will not be in action at Extreme Rules, with The Big Dog seemingly set to take some time away from WWE after the Clash At The Castle pay-per-view on September 3. Reigns may even lose the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at that event since he is reportedly set to face Drew McIntyre in the United Kingdom.

While Reigns will seemingly be gone for a little while after Clash At The Castle, he does have a more active schedule for the summer. He is set to be on Friday Night SmackDown on July 8 and July 22, as well as the July 25 edition of Monday Night Raw, before he faces Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam on July 30.

WWE's top star signed a new deal with the company earlier this year and he has worked a part-time schedule since WrestleMania 38.
