Roman Reigns NOT Planned For WWE Survivor Series

WWE Survivor Series not planned to feature Roman Reigns

One of the biggest WWE ‘premium live events’ of the year is on the horizon, with Survivor Series set for November 25.

Whilst speculation rages as to whether the event will once again feature a WarGames Match, one thing fans should not expect to see on the card is long-time Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Per a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Reigns is not currently scheduled for the show in Rosemont’s Allstate Arena, a notable move considering Survivor Series status as one of the traditional ‘big four’ PPV events in WWE. Reigns is set to defend his title at Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 5, and if plans don’t change then he won’t wrestle on pay-per-view until his next scheduled bout at the 2024 Royal Rumble on January 27.

Aside from several house show matches, Reigns has only wrestled during ‘PLE’ shows in 2023, with his last broadcast bout being his win over Jey Uso in the main event of SummerSlam in August - Reigns’ sixth PLE showing of the year.

Reigns headlined Survivor Series 2022 as part of The Bloodline vs. Team McIntyre WarGames match.
