Roman Reigns To Appear On SmackDown Next Week

Roman Reigns will appear on SmackDown for the first time in over a month

The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has not been seen on WWE programming since the Raw after WrestleMania 39, but after around a month of being absent, he is set to finally show his face.

During this week’s Backlash 2023 go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown, it was announced that Reigns would be on the May 12 episode, in which the WWE draft officially goes into effect, with Reigns’ remaining on the blue brand.

With Reigns announced to be appearing at the upcoming Night Of Champions 2023 Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia, it is expected that his journey to the show will begin here, with no challenger laid out in front of him as of yet. Both Solo Sikoa and The Usos were drafted over to SmackDown too, so expect to see The Bloodline’s turbulent descent continue on television.

Speaking of The Bloodline, they are set to do battle with Matt Riddle, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens in a big six-man tag team match at Backlash, in which the result will undoubtedly come into play upon Reigns’ arrival on SmackDown.
