WrestleMania 38 was a successful event for WWE, as the two-day ‘Grandaddy of ‘em all’ broke records, and was a critical and commercial success.

Night one however, was a night to forget for Ronda Rousey, as ‘The Rowdy One’ was unsuccessful in her WrestleMania return, losing to WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair in singles action.

Rousey reflected on her loss during a recent live gaming stream on Facebook, saying the following:

"I'm all sore. I got screwed. I tapped out Charlotte and the ref didn't see it. I was trying to wake up the ref, Charlotte tried to ambush me from behind. What a world. Charlotte cheated. I should have been ready for a cheater. There should be no amount of cheating that can beat me, that's how good I have to be," Rousey said.

Rousey has never beaten Flair clean in singles competition, with their only other one-on-one bout at Survivor Series 2018 ending in a DQ win for Rousey.
