Nothing is set in stone in WWE, not even the main event of night one of WrestleMania, as for weeks leading up to the event reports circulated that either Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair, or The Kevin Owens Show with Steve Austin was set to go last on WrestleMania 38 night one.

Eventually Owens and Austin headlined, but not after reports circulated that Rousey had allegedly ‘stormed out’ of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday night after finding out her match would not be going on last.

Rousey has fired back at these claims, posting the following to Twitter:

“I don’t know where these “reports” come from but it was an absolute honor to perform under Steve Austin at Wrestlemania in Texas-I wasn’t a hall of fame because I have a six month old baby I had to put to sleep early. People are literally creating drama out of thin air.”

Charlotte Flair defeated Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 38, and retained the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
