Ruby Soho Reveals She Needs Surgery For Broken Nose

Ruby Soho has been on the shelf since All Out

Ruby Soho has revealed that she requires surgery.

The AEW star sustained a broken nose on the AEW All Out pre-show during her match with Ortiz against Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo. Soho appeared to suffer the injury in the closing moments of the match after Melo connected with the Tay-KO.

Ruby was scheduled to compete for the UK's 1PW promotion on October 1 but she announced in a video that she needed surgery and would not be able to make the event.

"Due to the injury that I received at All Out, a broken nose in two places and a mess of a septum, I have to have surgery. And due to the scheduling of that surgery and the recovery time, I won't be able to make it to the show on October 1. You guys, I'm really, really sorry that I'm not gonna be there. Honestly, this is the only thing that would keep me from coming back to England. I was very, very much looking forward to that show and very much looking forward to meeting all of you and seeing all of you again. So for that, I do truly apologise," Soho said.

Soho will instead debut for 1PW in February 2023. When she will return to All Elite Wrestling is unknown.
