Rusev Reveals He Has COVID-19

He revealed the news on a Twitch stream...

Former WWE performer Rusev revealed on a Twitch stream Sunday that he has contracted the coronavirus.

While playing the game Valorant with former co-worker Cesaro, Rusev was asked if he was going to the gym today, and replied that he was on his way out the door when he received word of the diagnosis.

Additionally, Rusev's wife Lana revealed earlier in the week that both of her parents have contracted COVID, adding that her mother was admitted to ICU as a result, while her father was bedridden for a time.

Lana has since revealed that her mother got out of ICU, and has been off of oxygen for more than 24 hours. She says both parents have been doing better.

Rusev had been teased as one of the released WWE performers that may or may not have been a part of Impact Wrestling's Slammiversary this Saturday night (which obviously seems doubtful now). He was released from WWE on April 15, meaning his non-compete would have expired this week.

Cultaholic wishes both Rusev and his in-laws a speedy recovery.
