Rush Signs Full-Time With AEW

"El Toro Blanco" is All Elite

Rush has signed full time with AEW.

Tony Khan officially tweeted the news, writing, "It’s official: @rushtoroblanco is All Elite! What a week for Rush! Yesterday was his birthday, today he’s All Elite, and it’s Rush vs @SilverNumber1 TONIGHT on Friday Night #AEWRampage! Don’t miss Friday Night #AEWRampage on @TNTdrama @ 10pm ET/9pm CT TONIGHT!"

Rush had been on a per-appearance deal with AEW since coming aboard in May. Upon arrival, Rush was immediately reunited with Los Ingobernables co-founder Andrade el Idolo (now under the banner of La Faccion Ingobernable).

Rush took part in the tournament to crown the first ever AEW Trios Tag Team champions, teaming with Andrade and Dragon Lee (Rush's brother) in a quarterfinal loss to Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. Rush was also part of the ill-fated Casino Ladder match at All Out earlier this month.

Rush is also a former two-time ROH World champion, and even defeated Dragon Lee in a singles bout at Death Before Dishonor in July.

As Khan noted in the tweet, Rush will be in action on tonight's AEW Rampage, facing John Silver from The Dark Order.
