Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens Vs. The Usos Rematch Set For SmackDown In Two Weeks

Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens Vs. The Usos Made Official For Two Weeks

A rematch from the main event of WrestleMania 39 Night 1 was inevitable at some point, and it has finally been announced when and where an Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship match between The Usos and the new champions Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens will take place.

On the recent episode of SmackDown, Paul Heyman revealed that the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns used his influence as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion to set up a rematch for the tag titles on the April 28 SmackDown - the same night as the start of the 2023 WWE Draft.

This will be the first defense for Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens (unless they defend their belts in an impromptu match before that date), but it isn’t a clear-cut result. A big reason for this is the upcoming Night Of Champions event which takes place in Saudi Arabia next month. With neither man attending Saudi Arabia shows, WWE may not want absent Tag Team Champions, so a title switch is a possibility.
