Report: Latest On AEW's New TV Show

More details on the upcoming third AEW TV show

Dynamite and Rampage won't be All Elite Wrestling's only shows on TV for much longer, with rumours suggesting a third series is almost a done deal and is set to premiere in the coming months on Saturday nights. A planned Rampage taping in Regina, Saskatchewan on July 14 was moved to Saturday, July 8 and is now billed as an 'AEW Live' TV taping, which suggests the new show will be debuting before or on July 8.

In an update, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported a deal for the Saturday night show is still not 100 percent finalised but plans call for the show to be two hours and it will have the same star power as Dynamite, with CM Punk expected to be the star of the Saturday series. The Regina taping on July 8 is scheduled to begin at 6 pm CT/7 pm ET, which suggests the new Saturday night show will go on the air at 7:30 pm or 8 pm ET.

When exactly the show will go on the air has yet to be revealed but a June start had been talked about within AEW. No TV tapings on a Saturday night have been announced for June as of yet.

If the show will air on TBS or TNT in the United States is also unknown.

The new series will also reportedly lead to a soft roster split within AEW in order to ease locker-room tensions when CM Punk makes his expected return to the promotion later this year, believed to be at or around the June 21 edition of Dynamite in Chicago.
