Sammy Guevara Returns On AEW: Dynamite

In the main event of last night's episode of Dynamite, Chris Jericho and Jake Hager faced off against Jurassic Express. Despite interference from Santana and Ortiz, Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy had the match won as the 65 million-year-old star went for a Chokeslam on Jericho. Before he could hit the move, however, Serpentico suddenly scaled the apron and smashed Luchasaurus across the back of the head with Floyd the baseball bat. This gave Jericho the opening he needed to connect with a Codebreaker for the win.

After the bell, The Inner Circle and Serpentico beat down Jurassic Express, and after the AEW Dark jobber landed a Shooting Star Press on Jungle Boy, he removed his mask and revealed himself as Sammy Guevara.

The Spanish God had been off TV for the past month after he was suspended without pay by AEW on June 21. His suspension came after inappropriate comments he made about Sasha Banks in 2016 surfaced online and Guevara subsequently underwent sensitivity training during his time off.
