Samoa Joe Says The "Triple B" Is Going In The Trash

Samoa Joe is the brand new AEW World Champion, shocking the world in his defeat of MJF at the Worlds End PPV last night. He will be making some changes when it comes to the look of the AEW World Championship, which has sported a brown Burberry pattern across the strap throughout most of MJF’s year-plus title reign. 

Donned as the “Triple B” (Big Burberry Belt), it was a custom design for MJF during his time as champion. Joe will not be keeping this, which he revealed during the AEW Worlds End post-show media scrum. 

"This [Triple B AEW World Title] is going in the garbage, don’t worry about that. This trash right here, this little knockoff, BS Gucci stuff that he has going on, this is going away. We’re getting the good belt, the right belt, something that is designed well. I’ve spoken with Tony intensively about it and we’re very much looking forward to it. We have a whole new era we’re starting.”

Fans may see the original AEW World Title once again come this week’s AEW Dynamite.
