Could Samoa Joe become the Samoan Submission Space Marine?
Speaking to WrestleZone ahead of his TNT Title match with Darby Allin on February 1, Samoa Joe revealed he is interested in being a part of Henry Cavill's Warhammer 40,000 series that will air on Amazon Prime Video. Specifically, it appears that Joe would want to be a Space Marine, noting there is nobody better at talking trash to aliens.
"I got a couple of cool little offers, just trying to work them out right now and make them work in the schedule and we'll see about that. If anything else, Henry Cavill if you're out there, dog, I know you got that Warhammer franchise and you're going to need people to understand how it goes down. I'm just throwing that in the universe. If you want somebody to talk that trash to the aliens, there's nobody better," Joe said.
The ROH World Television Champion is known to be a fan of Warhammer 40,000 - the popular tabletop wargame from Games Workshop. He even visited Warhammer World in 2015.
It was revealed in December 2022 that Henry Cavill will star and executive produce a Warhammer 40,000 series. Amazon secured the rights to the Games Workshop game after months of negotiations.
Samoa Joe has expanded beyond pro wrestling in recent years. He plays Sweet Tooth in the upcoming Twisted Metal series on Peacock, while he also voices King Shark in the upcoming Suicide Squad video game.
