Santana Garrett Keeping Her Options Open Following WWE Release

She's open to returning to a former promotion

Santana Garrett is keeping her options open following her WWE release.

The Midwest Sweetheart had been with WWE from 2019 but she was released by the company on June 2, 2021. Since then, Garrett has performed at AEW's September Dark tapings against Diamante, but she is yet to sign with another promotion.

Speaking to Lucha Libre Online, Garrett revealed she is keeping her options open and the former WWE Superstar is open to going back to a promotion she has previously worked for like IMPACT Wrestling or Stardom.

"I'm keeping my options open. I'm talking to a few different companies. I'm not opposed to going somewhere I've already been. I feel like I've kept relationships up over the years with a lot of these promoters that I've worked for. I've never left a company with ill will. Right now, I'm just keeping my options open. I have a few things coming up. Stay tuned people," Garrett said.

After signing with WWE in August 2019, Garrett spent much of her time on NXT but she did make one appearance on Raw following WrestleMania 36. She then disappeared from WWE TV completely following The Great American Bash in July 2020 and she only made one more appearance, at the 2021 Royal Rumble, before her release from the company.
