Santana To Face Matt Hardy On AEW: Dynamite Following Sammy Guevara's Suspension

Last night, All Elite Wrestling announced Sammy Guevara had been suspended without pay for an indefinite period. The Spanish God's salary will be donated to the Women's Center of Jacksonville during his suspension.

AEW wrote: "AEW insists on doing our part to create a world of understanding and respect for humankind. We therefore strongly condemn the extremely offensive and hurtful words of Sammy Guevara. As such, effective immediately, Sammy is suspended without pay until further notice. Sammy has agreed to undergo extensive sensitivity training and, upon completion, his future status within the company will be re-evaluated. During his suspension, his salary will be donated to the Women's Center of Jacksonville."

Guevara was scheduled to go one on one with Matt Hardy on this week's episode of Dynamite but the announcement left The Broken One without an opponent. Hardy didn't have to wait long to find out who his new opponent will be, however, as the young promotion revealed Matt will face another Inner Circle member in Santana. 

Fans can even vote on which version of Hardy they want to see on Wednesday. They can choose between Old School Matt, Unkillable Matt and Broken Matt.
