Santos Escobar Feels Ready To Win A World Title In WWE

Is a world title in the LWO member's future?

Santos Escobar is ready for bigger and better things in WWE.

The high-flyer is currently a member of the rebooted Latino World Order, alongside Rey Mysterio, Cruz Del Toro, Joaquin Wilde and Zelina Vega, but he believes singles success is within reach.

Speaking with Under the Ring, Escobar said: "I just saw Triple H announce a new championship. I feel ready for that. That's how high my note is right now"

Escobar - along with the rest of the LWO - were recently drafted to SmackDown in the 2023 WWE Draft, meaning he will be unable to compete for the newly-unveiled World Heavyweight Championship. Roman Reigns will take his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to the blue brand.

Though he has yet to capture gold since being called up to the main roster, the 39-year-old luchador is a former NXT Cruiserweight Champion. Escobar has previously made known his desire to follow in the footsteps of Mysterio and the late Eddie Guerrero by becoming WWE's next Hispanic megastar.
