Saraya Reveals She Wanted To Be A 'Paul Heyman Girl'

Saraya told Heyman himself of her desire to be a 'Paul Heyman girl'

Paul Heyman has managed some of the biggest stars in WWE history, from Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle to CM Punk and Roman Reigns.

There have been many 'Paul Heyman guys' over the years, but no 'Paul Heyman girls'. Current AEW star Saraya (FKA Paige), however, desperately wanted to be one.

During a recent appearance on Superstar Crossover, the Anti-Diva was asked to choose between Heyman and another legendary manager; the late, great Bobby Heenan.

She passed over The Brain for The Wise Man, saying:

"I wanted to be a 'Paul Heyman girl' so bad. Everyone wanted to be a 'Paul Heyman girl', and I even said to him that I wanted to be a 'Paul Heyman girl' - I was in his book  he put me in his book, and I was like, 'Oh my god, I love you'"

Heyman has yet to manage a female superstar in WWE, though it was reported in 2018 that the company were considering pairing him with Ronda Rousey. Rowdy Ronda herself said she was open to the idea as recently as last September.
