A rumour about Sasha Banks and Naomi's WWE future has been quashed.
Brad Shepard reported on Tuesday after the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions walked out of Monday Night Raw that Naomi and Banks had been pulled from the company's live events through July.
The report was quickly quashed by Sasha Banks' husband and WWE Costume Designer Sarath Toth, though, and he replied to a Ringside News story about Shepard's report, tweeting: "The bulls**t being spewed is next level."
Banks and Naomi created headlines earlier this week after they walked out of Raw. WWE announced the champions had placed their Women's Tag Team Titles on John Laurinaitis' desk and left the building following a meeting with Vince McMahon.
Banks and Naomi's unhappiness was said to primarily stem from the booking of the tag titles, with Naomi scheduled to win a Six-Pack Challenge on Raw before losing a Raw Women's Championship match to Bianca Belair at Hell In A Cell. Sasha Banks, meanwhile, was set to lose to SmackDown Women's Champion Ronda Rousey. The Women's Tag Team Titles ultimately would have been put on the backburner until after the June 5 pay-per-view, with a pitch for a match with Doudrop and Nikki ASH having been turned down.
How WWE will deal with Banks and Naomi walking out is currently unclear but it was noted they were not expected to be released, although anything could happen.
